This sketch makes me think of the days of late summer last year, when I used to wander the streets downtown by myself in search of a myriad of things I didn’t need. It was just me and my notebook and the depression I didn’t want to face yet, walking down the sidewalks with the crowds and the loudness, letting the sun set and life continue around me. I was an empty shell then. I resolve to rise above having days like those ever again.
